STUDIOS

Fully-equipped "state-of-the-art" broadcast studio facilities and control rooms geared to serve the communication needs of the community and to promote its value-oriented concerns.

The Hallel studio floor is a 40’ x 40’ area expandable to 180’ x 40’ area. It combines a full lighting grid and board for flexible and creative scene lighting. Also included within the studio system are the teleprompter, Clock/timer, crew communications, studio address system and studio cameras.

SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE     

The supporting video system uses Grass Valley Video DA’s new sync and Tektronix waveform monitoring and vector scopes. The audio system also uses Grass Valley Audio DA’s Datatek monitoring switcher and Urie 809 speakers.

FIELD ACQUISITION (ENG)

Hallel provides broadcast-quality CCD cameras recording capability. The field tapes are integrated and edited in a full on-line broadcast quality Hallel post-production facility.

 

PRODUCTION

Hallel post-production facility is centered on the Grass Valley digital production switcher and computerized Edit system. Video effects devices are integrated in the system. A computerized paint box creates single-frame video graphics. DVE is used for picture compression and manipulation. A computerized character generator produces titles and credits all mastering is done on a 16 input mixing console with outboard audio devices, including cassette decks, RDAT and compression, limiting, reverberation and noise reduction enhancement guarantee the professional of audio production.

 

TAPE RECORDERS

Hallel studio and post-production facility is able to access two Sony 1" type C video recorders, two Panasonic AU 660 studio record decks and two Sony ¾ DVC Umanic VCR's. The VTR's can be used in either the post-production environment or in a studio taping when multiple mastering and/or tape roll-ins are required. Timing and level adjustment can be performed remotely by the facility operations personnel.
